Life in God's Family

Back to basics

Over the first part of this year we are going back to basics. Exploring together Life in God’s Family. Looking at what is a Christian, Baptism, The Church, Communion and Giving. We will be studying this together as a whole church with our children’s groups following the same teaching material as the adults.

For a while now we have seen new people coming along to Sunday services and we have been encouraging and equipping the church to be proactive in pointing people to Jesus. But it is possible to be around God’s family without actually being in it. In John 3 Jesus tells Nicodemus; ‘I tell you the truth, no-one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’ In this series we will look at what the Bible teaches about God’s family and the stuff Christians do.

Our prayer is that this series will help people understand what Life in God’s Family is all about and be better equipped to point people to Jesus.
