We're going to be looking at three words relating to the Advent season as we prepare for Christmas:
and we'll see how as the Nativity unfolds that the wonderful unity of God's Word shows us how He works today.
Luke 1:34 - Mystery: "God has made known to us the mystery of His will" - but what did this mean for Mary and Joseph, and what does it mean for us in the 21st century?
Luke 1:37 - Power: "His incomparably great power for us who believe" - the mystery has been revealed but how can this be? How big is your God?
Luke 1:46 - Presence: "My soul glorifies the Lord" - God's presence brings peace to God’s new community, so that Christ "may dwell in your hearts through faith" and we can "be imitators of God therefore, as dearly loved children."
